Editing an existing page is its own discipline
Changing a live Wikipedia article is, if anything, more sensitive than creating one. Established pages are watched by editors, and clumsy or undisclosed changes are quickly reverted - and can attract exactly the scrutiny a subject hoped to avoid. The correct route is to make the case for a change openly, with sources, and let the community act on it.
That is precisely how we work. Where you have a conflict of interest in a subject - which, as the subject or their representative, you do - the proper mechanism is a disclosed edit request on the article's talk page, setting out the proposed change and the reliable source that supports it.

What we cannot promise
We cannot remove accurate, well-sourced information simply because it is unwelcome. Wikipedia is not a promotional platform, and attempting to scrub the verifiable record tends to backfire. What we can do is ensure that what is published is accurate, current, fairly weighted and properly cited.
